Subject: Phase For Stereo - Flashfreeze EP
On the Flashfreeze EP music act Phase For Stereo brings an old school 1970's electronic music sound. If you enjoyed the retro influenced musical stylings of Guillaume Emmanuel de Homem-Christo & Thomas Bangalter in their work together as Daft Punk then you might want to have a look at this EP. I think the Flashfreeze EP would fit okay in a mix that also had some of Daft Punk's own brand of Dance music involved, but I have to also say that this EP would need some help on the low end because when played with a flat EQ it doesn't naturally have the same oomph that most Daft Punk songs have. I rate the Flashfreeze EP at four stars.
